Back Yard From Below

The Pyracantha on the left and Yews on the right were planted to screen off the underside of the deck.

Notice that the bent oak tree on the left which has a 45-degree bend it (in the first two pictures) is gone in 2009.
The center of it was already rotted out in 1998, and it finally blew over in the very strong winds we get here.
The Pyracantha on the left has never been trimmed since it was planted in 1999. It's about 10' tall in 2009.
